I am writing to share my experiences as a member at the Gold’s gym in Arlington, Massachusetts.
I attempted to get feedback from management at the gym but it appears there’s been a few people who have left, one of which was the previous manager.
The issues include the following: the ladies bathroom in the locker room has two stalls, one of which has been out of order since Thursday. I go to the gym every day and haven’t seen anything happen with this in the past five days. I asked the new manager today when the toilet would be fixed and he went on to tell me that the timeline is unknown as the owner of the building is waiting until the repairs are completed in the women’s locker room before he fixes the toilet issue. Right now there is only one stall for all of the women that work out at that gym. There was no toilet paper in the one working stall today. Plus I might add that the women’s locker room is in desperate need of cleaning.
Lastly, there are several machines that have been out of order for months. I reached out to the manager about several broken machines and he said he would take care of it. That was weeks ago.
For the money I pay to work out here ($50/per month), I would think these things would not be an issue. I enjoy working out at this gym and would hate to leave here but may be forced to do so as well others if these things don’t get taken care of. Please let me know your thoughts on this and if you could reach out to this gym or even better – visit the gym, I think that would be beneficial so you can get a better sense of everything.
